shocks

hi guys, well it's time to get some shocks for the burb and I was wondering which type I should run. any suggestions whould be helpfull. I was think of some pro comps or ranchos but not really sure. there the last items to order before I lift it. is going to be an 4" lift....

You are buying the shocks for the lift right?I have sx8000's from tuff country on my blazer.The ride is pretty good.I am putting rancho rs9000's on my suburban.

yes, I just need the shocks then I can finally install the lift on the burb btw it's going to be 4"tc up front and the 4" ORD shackle flip for the rear....

what's size tires are you going to put on???

I figure 4" is a good size lift, I didn't want it to be to top heavy. Maybe an 1" ORD body lift still not sure though. I plan on running 36x12.50x16's TSL radials on 16x8 black rock krawler rims and if they don't fit I'll just trim the fender in moderation.

I think I will go with 315/75-16 BFG 's.It will be for on road only.I have to wait and see how much lift I get in the front.I am running a big block.I might need ord zero rates.

i got the sx8000s i dont know im not a fan of them. great lift just a bit of a rough ride.

A/T or M/T ??? are you going to run the soft or the HD front TC springs???

i might be a liar it might be my springs or leafs. not sure.

But honestly im way to high im always afraid of clipping little ricers and crap and the parking lots are a joke.

I got 35'' SupaSwamps and its pretty high.

I am going with the AT's since it will be 99% on road.I'm thinking I will use the softride.I have them on my blazer and it rides better than stock.I will contact tuff before I buy,see what they recomend.On my 72 blazer,I think the sx8000,s give a pretty good ride.I am going with rancho rs9000's so I can adjust the ride a little.

I got Rancho 9000X on my Burb, Has 9 settings for ride soft to hard. Great price though summit racing too

I got ranchos on my rig, an like them, not sure if it is "rough" or not, but then again I dont mind a rough ride.
