? on spindle swap

i have a 69 gmc 1/2 ton and want disk brakes. i read about all the swaps from 73 and up. what do i all need to do the swap with a 2 1/2" to 3" drop. should i use spindle or spring drop.

Since you want disc brakes and are looking to drop the front I would use a disc brake conversion with drop spindles. The truck will handle better and align easier with drop spindles over using just coil springs. If interested in the drop spindle disc conversion you'll find our disc conversion kits with stock or drop spindles here
