My non-identical twin-

What are buddies for? They are there for you when you need them, and sometimes when you don't. Look what my good buddy sent me. He knows I don't need another truck right now, but he just had to tempt me anyway. Of course I had to tell my wife how cool it would look if we rolled in to a show with twin 77's. She was not impressed....

It's the non-identical twin to my 77. I can't believe the bidding cut off so low...

that is a beautiful truck. I once had a 73 stepside that same color.

Is it just me or does the driver door in the picture above look to be a different shade?

Yes, the door looks to me like it does not match.

Buyers are probably scared of the rust in the bed, and where else it might be hidden...

I'm not sure if it's the door, or the fender that doesn't quit match...

I am not ragging it by no means! It's still a clean truck!

Maybe they painted the cab and doors, then the hood fenders and bed seperately?? The front fender looks to be the same shade as the bed sides. The cowl and the cab almost match the door.

The other thing I noticed is that the roof looks to be dented. Could be the lighting in the 1st picture though.

Truck is nice, except for the bed rust. I wonder if there is more under the cab. One thing is for sure, they emptied the silicone/Armorall barrel. Looks like a professional detailer did it. They usually spray the engine bay with the stuff. You can tell real quick when the exhaust manifolds have a shine to them.

The interior is in fantastic shape. Clean as a pin.

First thing that needs done is to loose the Mr. Gasket paintchip protectors. I bought some of them things a long time ago at a truck show and never could bring myself to putting them on the truck.

Yeah they painted the valve covers and intake manifold that wonderful GM blue green. Which is the wrong color for that year truck motor...

Yeah Swervin the interior is the best part of it. Someone attempted a nice paint job, but it looks kinda "thick" to me. My guess is the dealership detail guy got crazy with the slick as snot spray...

shouldn't the dash bezel have woodgrain on it, too? It's kind of odd to see a truck optioned up like that with no A/C. Must be a northern truck, for sure.

Jonboy, No not on the Cheyenne. It had "most" of the Silverado trim, but the dash bezel was black. Yeah I noticed the lack of a/c, but tilt and cruise
