Price for a '69 C-10

My father, who has never shown ANY interest in classic trucks, recently gave me a call about a 1969 C-10 that is for sale close to where he lives.

From his description, the truck is a base model with a 250 and a three speed. The truck has no rust and has 44000 original miles. The owner was an 85 year old retired farmer who recently passed away. It has hardly been used for the last 10 years.

Any ideas about what it's worth?

Past:
'05 Sierra 4x4 - Had 270,000 KM and running well when it was written-off by a stop sign runner.
'94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm.
'79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350.
'76 Sierra Grande (Orange) - hate isn't too strong a word. Kid who bought it turned it into a hot rod.
'68 C-10 R.I.P. - Dad's old truck...too far gone to resurrect.
'59 C-50 - with hoist. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said.

I would say anywhere from 5 to 10k USD depending on if it's a SWB or a LWB.

Thanks for the reply - I think the truck is a LWB.

I would say somewhere between $2000 and $4000, depending on how "rust free" it is.

Do you know what color it is and could it be a GMC maybe? I know of a minty one out in the country. No rust, straight as an arrow, original right down to the hubcaps. I have some pictures of it but cant tell what year it is and it belonged to an 80 something year old guy as well.

Blue Beard - add about 25% to the US amount an your're in the ball park - if that's what your're asking. If you're asking a market question the demand for a truck like this would probably be greater in the US, although more and more guys are working on trucks like this in my part of Canada.

Gee_Em do you think it's the same one? I don't know what colour it is, but realistically how many trucks like this does a guy find around the Slurpee capital of the universe?

It would have been a great coincidence GeeEm, but it isn't the same truck. Looks really clean though.
