1966 GMC Gas Tank
Hi,
My name is Max, I'm new to the board, but I just, a few months ago, got my hands on a 66 GMC 3/4 ton fleetside long bed custom cab. As of now, its running, its got a 350 v8 in it, with a granny gear transmission, that I havent identified yet. The filler hose for the gas tank is cracking, and a cap will not even stay on it. I need to replace it, but I'm not sure what i need. So far on Brothers, I've found the grommet for the outside, and the filler hose, but it seems to me that there is some sort of hard plastic that comes to the outside, but i haven't found it anywhere in parts catalogs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot. Max |

I'll check the tank I pulled from a 65 GMC. I don't remember any plastic piece. The filler was metal and was attached to the tank.
