Pickup bed trailer

I have a trailer made from 71? GMC shortbed pickup. Exterior panels seem rot free. Bed has plywood floor, underneath looks to have some rot but overall condition under wood is unkown to me. Has Dana 44 axle and 7.50X16 bias ply tires with spare. I brought it home with a truck I bought and have no need for it. I have the registration for this trailer, it was on the road up until last week. Someone make me an offer, cash or trade?

What are you looking for as a trade? I have a pretty descent bench seat from a 71. Its black cloth & vinyl.

Welcome to the board from Tennessee. I don't want you to recieve a flaming here for not posting a price here, but it is part of the board rules. The admin of the board frown on auctions being generated by make me an offer deals. The bed/trailer looks good to me, I might be inclined to offer you $20 cash and an unopened bag of corn nuts

Honestly, I don't really know it's worth but figured it might be worth $200 to someone who needed a trailer or wanted a decent bed for a resto on a truck. In regard to trades, since my only actual truck is an 88' C-1500 Scottsdale, parts for that would be ok.

Is the sheetmetal straight as well? The front panel, tailgate and side panels? Does it look to be the original paint? Can you see bondo or any bodywork on the bed? Any other pictures to post by chance? I'm in Vermont; might be able to work something out. Thanks...

Hotrodhenryj......

Is that yours or his...?

The bed would be worth more than $200

It's his, I was just stating I thought the price was good, and posting the pic. By the looks of the tailgate I would say it is worth the asking price.....just the gate that is.

Nice trailer, I may be interested. I only have parts for 55-59 chevy's and 67-72 chevy's and some slightly newer stuff that would fall in the 73-87 chevy category. Can you give some specifics of what you are looking for. I might be able to come up with something.

I'm sure most are aware

I'm fairly certain this is long bed (8' box) but still a nice bed at that. I would also assume rear is not dana 44, make sure to verify if it matters.

Is that an aluminum bumper? Or is it steel diamond plate, just curious.

In regard to all the replies, I will have more detailed pics on the board over the weekend. Taking a quick look underneath, it has some floor rot mostly near the rear of the bed. The sides of the bed have very minor dents (pics to come) and the right side has a thin narrow crease near the beltline. Wheel openings have a little rot at the lip (more pics) , but sound and look to have no previous plasticwork. Pint is originally green but it's a synthetic Maaco brown now. Bumper is steel diamond plate. Leaf spring suspension and a Dana rear though not a 60 series (no drain plug on cover). Again, I'll have more pics posted over the weekend.
