Tilt steering ?
Does any one know if this tilt will work in a 72 and what nneds changed as far a wiring, it a mid 80's conversion van.

its all about the +6 inches

It would be about 2 inches too long just like the older van tilt, other than that, it should bolt in with minor issues on the diameter od the top portion of the column. (under the dash)
As for hooking it up...I think one or two ppl have done it here. Why not just get the older van tilt? Or are you lookin to get rid of the wiper and ignition off the dash? |

A friend of mine used one out of a van but not sure what year ill find out and let you know also it bolted right up

I know it differs from one wrecking yard to another, but all the yards here would charge quite a bit more for that, then the older van tiolts which apear totally stock when mounted. Like 100 + for yours and 20 - 35 bucks for the older ones. (Older meaning '72 - 80)

Just a heads up on the Van tilts, I have several yards that I visit, and it costs about $50 for them, and if anyone wants one, I can pull any that I find this weekend as long as you cover the cost of the tilt and shipping. Oh, a tip ($$, not advice) would be nice as well.
