Can anyone tell me where the bolts are on the back of this emblem and what size they are and how many.?

i believe thats 2 seperate emblems,1 custom/20,and a deluxe. the nuts are 3/8. i was able to get at my C/10 thru the engine compartment between the blower and fender, "P.I.T.A",But yours is so long you'll probably have to drop the inner fender well a little to get to them, i dont know how many nuts you will have, but they are a "self tapping nut" . hope that helps/ jeff

There are two nuts on each emblem and the nuts are 3/8". You may end up loosening the bottom bolt on the fender to give yourself room. If you remove the fender liner, they are easier to get off.

What I would like to see is where the fasteners are behind the emblems ,I was just going to drill them out and weld the holes .I got all the other chrome off without removing the inner fender and this is the last piece.

so your not gonna remount the emblem? just bust it off,if you drill out the posts or bust it off,the emblem will be no good,and either way your nuts are gonna fall into the fender well! However if you take out a "couple" of inner fender nuts, you can squeeze your hand in and save the emblem, and you wont have to listen to the nuts rattle around all day, << the holes that hold that emblem on,you couldnt fit a pencil thru, but if you want to drill them out, go for it!
