Help with Cat. Converter - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I need some help with catalytic converters. I live in Ca. so i need to have a converter. I have a 88' 2500 series pickup with flowtech headers and 3 inch exhaust with a hooker aero chamber muffler. I need a new converter. The smog shop told me so when i had it smogged last. So i need some help on which one to buy. I would like something that is free flowing and most importantly inexpensive. LOL If anyone could give part #'s and where to get one i would really appreciate it. Thanks.
