good tires?
recommend me some good tires.
i was thinking 255/45/17's up front, and 275/45/17's in the back. are the kumho ecsta supra 712 tires decent? |

i agree with bagged, nt555 on front and nt555R drag radial on rear. you did say "good" in your title . the kumhos are decent. they don't really hook up and you won't get alot of miles out of them. you won't get alot out of the nittos either but they will hook up

oh, nitto also makes a nt450 which is pretty comparable to the kumho 712. the nt 555's kill both of them

you can get 10k out of them if you don't go doing burnouts everwhere. if you paln on buring them all over the place you'll get closer to 5-6k. the kumho 712 or nt450 i would say you "could" get 20-30k depending on how you drive and how your alignment is

to add to that the nt555's will get about the same milage as the kumhos, but its the R's that you will only get 10 k out of

275 is fine. not any wider though. try tirerack online or discount tire if there is one local. if you buy them online and then pay to have them mounted you will probly come out about the same, but call around your area and see what it will run you

The Nitto's shouldn't be too expensive being you have 17's. I paid $388 for two 245/35/ZR20 tires.

I love my Kuhmo Ecsta STX tire - if you can get them in your size. Got mine for $80 a tire.
