Vortec heads exh. port shape

My original TBI heads have a round shape... I'm going w/ Vortec heads when I do my TPI swap since they make a base plate for those heads now(YES!!!) So what are the shape of the Vortec head exh. ports?? Are they D shaped or round.... If they are round I want to try and still use my Flowtech headers so could I have the ports ported to fit??
