Cab dolly
Does anyone have any plans, pictures or whatever to support a cab? I may be getting one and I need to put it on some sort of moveable stand.I will be putting it under a carport to start doing body work to it.
Made out of wood or metal. I prefer it to be wood cuz I have not learned how to weld yet. If I had plans I could make either style or have someone make the metal style. Thanks Ron

Here is a sketch someone had a while back for making a wood one. You can do a search and find a lot of different ideas. Have see a few use a cutdown frame as a homemage dolly.

I used the center part of a frame and cab mounts, then just put wheels on it.

Here is mine, just used a extra frame I had, cut off behind the cab. Works very well.

I used those same dimensions. They were made by XXL (Kenneth). Here's my version. I could raise and lower the frame to mount it by myself.

Damn, I wish you lived closer. I have one that I want to get rid of. It was made from a '70 truck frame and has heavy duty steel casters under it. It sure worked great when I built my Son's truck. It allows you to keep the cab firmly bolted to the frame so you don't have to worry much about sag or warpage when cutting rusted body panels out. I wish I could keep it, but I just don't have the room.
