Composites
Anybody doing any composite/fiberglass work for their trucks? I've really got mine on a diet and am planning on making a carbon fiber center console. It's possible to cover parts with CF although a pump is needed for vacuum bagging. It's not as expensive (the materials) as I thought. Maybe some custom door panels too. If I can't do the console with CF I'll use fiberglass instead. I like how you can do rounded shapes and curves and have a nice shiny finish when done. Here's a forum that has a lot of good information and the company that sponsors it also sells the materials. It's sort of hard getting going in it with all the different chemicals and procedures but i believe it will be worth it.

Thanks for the link. Some of their members have fabbed some great looking parts. When I get to the interior of my truck that info should be handy. Be sure to post lots of pics when you fab your parts.
