Hurst Shifter Question

Hurst Quarter Stick Shifter

have a dilemma. i want this shifter for my 70. my father and i are talking about building an aluminum "stand" to mount this shifter on. I didint know there was a "foward" and "reverse" module. in the picture , is how i would like it to be mounted in the truck. what the difference between the 2 types of modules and which type is the picture? thanks for the help guys.

well in my 85 pro-street.....
i would want the one that's reverse....at 850 h.p. it's a hell of a lot
easer to shift back....with my lips in the back of my head



than the one that shifts forward....your body wants to go back...
not forward.....

it's a matter of preference...and functionality
