ot 350 in my 89 chevy

I just put a rebuilt 350 with an rv cam in my 89 chevy. I was bored .030 over and rest is stock. i was wondering why I can not get it to idal right. Do i need a special cam or what? It will start and run for a sec but then dies. I already timed it and it is perfect. i need to adjust the idle up. It is running about 600 rpm at idal.

help
