Angry My 93 Chevy Truck was egged.

Someone in my neighborhood has an issued with me. Why! Your guess is as good as mine. Twice in the last 4 months my truck has been egged. The first time they threw an egg at it and caused the paint to "spinder web". It looks like, the second time they walked next to the truck and let the yoke run straight down the side, as they walked from the rear wheel well to the driver's door. No other car on the street has been egged. The only reason I could think of, is that I very rarely drive the truck. So it sits, parked on the street, in front of my house. Lucky for me it has not been hot.

What the $%k is wrong with people? I have a plan to catch the little @#^t. It may take some time but I will let you know.

I don't understand what is going through the heads of some kids my age... They really need to get some sense knocked into them by someone...

Hope they didn't do any permenant damage to your truck! Sorry about my generation being so lame

Had this happen once and set a video camera up. Took 2 weeks but I caught the little bastard. You should have seen his face the next morning when I came a knocking. I couldn't help laughing when his Dad said, when your done with him, it's my turn.

Mine gets egged on a semi-regular basis too, and like you, I have no idea who nor why.
Before setting up a cam corder, you may want to look into what would make it inadmisable in court. (Onless you just want to bash the kid's skull in) I know in Tx we had to do this and the police told me that it was OK to film, but I could not try to lure ppl in.
Quote:
From the cop in tx It is ok to leave your windows down , but if you leave a set of speakers on the roof of the truck, that would be considered entrapment
Never did catch the b@stard that kept breaking into my rig.

My Saturn was egged a couple times in the parking lot at our fraternity house. I wanted to go out and shoot someone for that! I couldn't imagine what I'd do if they had egged my truck, probably bury mines around it in the ground and set trip wires, let's see those suckers get near it again!

i had a brother in law that had problems with kids smashing my neices pumpkins , now i know its not egging our trucks but along the same lines , those punkins were pretty special to those little girls , anyways , he smeared one really thick and hooked it up to a constant flow high voltage electric fence charger , the other one got sewing needles ran through it from the inside , i always just fill a pie pan full of bleach and tie a string from the bottom of the punkin to the pie pan right behind it , when the grab the punkin it dumpes the bleech al over theyre clothes hahaha ,

once i got egged while i was driving. i was going up a steep hill and a white honda was going down the hill in the other lane, at night, when a kid popped out of the sunroof and threw something (i couldnt see it at the time). well it hit my front license plate and bumper, didn't really do any damage, but made a pretty loud noise and scared the crap out of me. but it was pretty funny to see the cop who was right behind them turn his lights on.

id get a piantball gun and freeze the paint balls and lay in the bed of it ,, ha hah a, that would be hilarious , i remember once i was coming home in my 66 impala ss , i had my signal on waiting on an oncoming car so i could turn , when that car passed there was about a foot long string of black cats that landed on my hood and proceeded to fire , needless to say i ran them down and pinned theyre car in a carwash in town and held them there till the cops showed up , i told them i wouldnt call the cops if they would be so kind as to unlock the doors and get in line , they thought they would rather deal with the cops other than me , it didnt damage the paint just some light burns , i imagine theyre parents were harder on them than the fire crackers were on my hood

I did the same thing as LeRoy.
A buddy that lived kitty-corner from me when I was growing up had his car egged one night. Buttered another night. Toilet papered another night. All kinds of ha-ha funny stuff that really starting to tick off my pal. Finally we took my dad's video camera and set it up at my house and parked his car every night under the street light where I could see it real good from my front window. It took a couple of nights but we caught the kid.

The look when you present the evidence is priceless. Almost like a bad MasterCard ad.

That sucks... Glad to hear you guys are trying to stop it one punk kid at a time... I know it isnt the same, but I cant stand it when I see someone has keyed a car or truck... I have a key scratch that goes the ENTIRE length of my jeep, and my best friend has been keyed on his 85 chevy that has a beautiful paint job that cant be duplicated.... that sucks.... like to etch into their foreheads with a key until they learn... lol...
