4" Lift Kit questions
I'm looking for a 4" Lift Kit for my 1972 K10 4x4 (LWB). I'm looking at either a Rough Country Lift Kit with the "Luxury Ride" front leaf springs, or a Superlift 4" kit with the Heavy Duty front leaf springs. I'm putting a 454 in the truck in a month or two, and am wondering if the Rough Country springs will be too soft. Does anybody out there have a recommendation for a 4" lift kit for a Big Block? Thanks!!!

I would get the Tuff country with the extra leaf (heavy duty).

Made a decision
Thanks for the suggestion, that's kind of what I expected. I decided to go with a 6" Superlift Kit with Heavy Duty front springs. 4" would have cleared the 305/70R16 tires I'm putting on, but the only time this trucks going to be on the pavement for now is when it's being driven somewhere to go offroading, hunting, or cruising the sanddunes at Silver Lake, so I thought the extra couple inches of "insurance" would be wise. My brother has a '70 K5 Blazer with a '67 front clip, and 4" of lift with 33's. The rear wheelwells got munched a little after too hard of a launch off a dune.

Yeah go with tuff country. I have their 2" HD springs up front and netted about 3" of lift anticipating a new front bumper one day.
