got ripped off
I was buying a 1974 chevy K-5. It was pretty sweet, 40's on a six inch lift. So I went with my dad to check it out, we both liked it and he wanted 800 bucks for it. So I put a $200 down payment on it, we wrote up a bill of sales and he got our number and we were going to pick up the blazer in a week or so when the title came in from utah(sp?). So we kept calling him seeing if the title was yet to come in, and he said it was on its way, and he would call us when it came in. So now two months has gone by, not a word cant find his number anywhere, and for all we know he got the title and now has a blazer. So what should I do? The guys name is Noah. All help would be great. Thanks
-Marc

Do you remember where he lives? Maybe it's time for a friendly visit. Even if he's not at home you might be able to see if the K5 is still at his house. You could leave a note on the door saying you were there.

You should have filled out a duplicate title form and put yourself as the new owner works as a bill of sale also and then drove it home that day. Is the guy in Utah maybe I could pay him a visit.
