Ramhorns on a 4X4 which ones?

My 68 K-10 has a 350,sm465-4spd,Rockwell T-221 tcase. I want to put a new exhaust on manifolds back.I might go duals,maybe a single-anyway my manifolds go straight down I think I read that is the stock for a 4x4.I need to know because my truck was originally a 292 6cyl. Thanks

1986 M1031 6.2 diesel, TH400/NP205 locker in the rear and a LS in the front, all stock for now.....
1986 K30, 350/400/205 dana 60 and 14 bolt. I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone.
1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed.

1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm

I agree. Straight down. Very easy to find them. Much easier than the 2WD manifolds at least around here.

I have a set of both the staright down dumps as well as the 2wd angle back ones. I am gonna sell the straight down dump ones. They have been sandblasted and coated in 1200 degree flat black paint

The studs need to be removed and replaced and the porting surface on one of the manifolds is a bit weathered, but still very usable. I see LMC now sells them, but for $150 per side. I can take some up close pics of them if you like, but it wouldn't be until the weekend. Or if your headers are in usable shape, maybe we can work a trade. Something like we pay each each others shipping cost or ??? Let me know bud

I have a set straight down dumps,just didn't know if thats what I needed(for off the shelf ex.pipes to work)Did they have a heat riser on either side?

Mine does not have the heat riser. The heat riser only came on the angled back type usually on the right side, you'd know it because I believe it will not accomadate a donut gasket.

There is a heat riser on the straight down dump manifolds that I use. You can however use the straight down manifolds on either side if you don't want the heat riser.

I can take pics of my latest K20 project if needed since I don't have exhaust on it yet.

Mine have a taper for donut gaskets on both manifolds.
