Emission and coolant sticker placement - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Anyone have an original truck with the emissions and the coolant sticker still in place. I'm getting ready to put these both back on my 71 K20 and I forget exactly where they go.

I think the coolant one goes on the core support and emissions on driver's inner fender????

Need some pics please.

I don't have a pic but you are correct on the placement of the emission's sticker...Not sure about the coolant..

mine is on the Rad support also thats where they usually are placed from the ones that ive looked at

Dean, I don't know if there is a "correct" location for the stickers, as it would probably vary by year, application and whoever put the sticker on on the assembly line. You might check an assembly manual if you can't remember where yours was originally.

I've owned my 1971 K20 truck since 1989 and the emission sticker (for a 350/4bbl) is on the drivers side of the radiator support. My other 71 also has the sticker in the same location.

Can't help with the coolant stickers; mine have since been long gone.
