$500 on the window looks fine to me

I would pay around a grand or maybe more if it ran and drive good though.

Run, Don't walk, to him offer him 300, when he says 500 firm, give him the cash and celebrate by posting more pictures so we can be jealous at the awesome deal!

Anything saved is investment opportunity for parts........

I wouldn't be ashamed to pay anything less than $800 for it. Be careful it isn't bought out from under you--your location is in your avatar!

David it looks like a pretty good deal to me if you need another project (or even if you don't). Doesn't look like a farm truck, it's too straight. Looks like it has a lot of good parts.

truck

I agree, If I was within distance, I would have already paid him and taken it home. You better go get it before somebody thinks like me and buys it.

Well, to be totally honest, I think I would offer him atleast $50 more than I think you ought too.
Just jokin. lol But like the others said, $300-400. But 500, I wouldn't argue much over it. Grab it and scoot!

Well, i called the number, and a lady told me that she bought it from a guy that was going to restore it, but didn't have the time or money. She said that it ran and drove, and came with a spare transmission. She really couldn't tell me much about it, so i guess i'll just have to meet her there one of these days and drive it.

I'm just afraid that i'll get a bad deal, just wanted some input on what i should offer her for it. I thought i'd offer 250-300, but since she bought it to resell, i'm sure she won't go that low.

Thanks
David

That's true, my wife isn't too inthused about the idea of another truck in the line up, but i thought i might part it out and try to make a dollar or two, is there 400 dollars worth of parts there?

If that,s the case offer her only $400.Clean the truck up a bit and resell it for 800.Saves tearing it apart unless you need something out of it.
Either that or check out Longhorns thread in general discussion and put it on ebay.Let mac67 do the write up.

I would jump on that truck. You could buy it, put a little money in it and resale it. You could make a good profit.
