Alarm, Wiring

I WANT TO INSTALL A DEI VIPER 850 ALARM. I WAS WANTING TO GET A LITTLE ADVISE BEFORE I STARTED. I PLAN ON RUNNING THE STARTER DISABLE TO THE IGNITION WIRE , WIRING INTO THE PARKING LIGHTS TO FLASH WHEN ALARM IS ACTIVATED, AND TAPPING INTO THE FACTORY DOOR TRIGGERS. ID ALSO LIKE TO PUT A PIN (LIKE A DOOR TRIGGER) FOR THE HOOD.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT PUTTING A HIDDEN SWITCH ON THE FUEL PUMP? DISABLING THE ALARM ISNT THAT HARD. EITHER IS JUMPING ACROSS THE STARTER UNDER THE HOOD. BUT I THINK AS A LAST RESORT THE FUEL PUMP SWITCH WOULD BE A GOOD THEFT DETERENT. AT THE MOST THEYD GET A BLOCK DOWN THE ROAD AND THEN THEYLL BE BROKE DOWN. I DOUBT THEYLL STICK AROUND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD TO TROUBLE SHOOT IT. BUT BEFORE I START I NEED TO KNOW THE COLORS OF SOME WIRES . AS FAR AS I SEE THE COLORS SHOULD BE AS FOLLOWED. LET ME KNOW IF IM INCORRECT.

IGNITION- PURPLE
PARKING LIGHTS- BROWN
DOOR TRIGGERS- ORANGE & WHITE

THANKS

Your colors are wrong. Ingnition is Pink, you can get it behind the dash when you remove it. That way you can't see where it's been tapped from under. The Purple is the starter. The parking lights are Brown and can be found at the light switch plug when you have the dash out. The door triggers are the white only, they should be tied together. If you tap one wire, it will get you both doors. Use a test light to be sure of your taps before you plug in the alarm. If you put a pin under the hood, you can put it on the same wire as your doors. It will then turn on your dome light when the hood is opened though. Or you can make it a aux. input.
