402BB stock cam ?
I'm rebuilding my 402 motor and the stock cam that came out of it has some brownish discoloring on the lobes where the lifters sit. Is this brownish color normal or does it sound like the cam got hot?The engine only has 66,000 origional miles on it and I was wondering if it's ok if I use it again and just buy new lifters or should I buy a new cam and lifter set ? What the best brand of Cam and lifters out there to buy?

Cams aren't too expensive.......if you are going through the trouble of rebuilding the whole motor, replace the cam.
