Driveshaft
Has anyone converted thier trucks to a one piece drivshaft. Or, has anyone gone to an aluminum driveshaft to reduce weight... etc. If there is a "Thread" somewhere on the board i would appreciate a pointer to get me there.

do a search for it i know i have told a few people a few time about mine do you have a lwb or a swb if it is a swb just go to a local drive line shop and they should be able to set you up right or even if it is a lwb then the drive line shop should be able to make one for you

If the shaft is no made up right, it will 'whip' and vibrate alot, also wear out the tranny output shaft seal.
This is generally a very expensive piece to make and most drive shaft builders refuse to even do it. |
