Progress: Let the tear down begin...
I finally got a break from the house this weekend and decided it was going to be a truck weekend. The job at hand was to dismantle the "old" chassis down to the bare crap frame so all the parts could be cleaned, updated and painted. I can't decide whether to rattle can it or go with POR-15.

Nakedness,,, PG rated
Well it looks great... out of the ashes as they say. I am not far behind. Let's see the frame after you get her scraped, blasted and repainted.

Actually there are some factory (I think) overload springs on there that someone might want. I guess I could keep the front peice and practice my frame Z'ing...hmmmm

Zoomy - does 30 lbs sound about right as far as weight? And for the cab mounts whats the best way - grind them off or just try and cut out a frame section?

Torch or chisel the rivets off from the back side. Then hit the mounts with a BFH.
