Can't wait to see what they look like on your truck Dion.Post some pics asap.Rage'nrat638 where did you get yours and what did they set you back if you don't mind me asking? They look very sharp too. Do you have any pics of those rims on your truck? I'll be in the market in the future and would like to see pics of 8-lug wheels.

Dion nice wheels what are you putting on them for protection once there polished, I had some polished and they had to strip the aniodizing off them to polish them, so I just put metal polish on them, but I did here you can get aniodizing put back on, just curious if they told you what to put on them once there polished. there going to look sweet on your truck, oh thanks for posting the drip rail pics, I love that look, but it doesn't look like it installs very easy

those look awesome! i love the old slots, too bad that they didn't make a 16" 8 lug version. and if they did, they are rarer than chicken teeth.

Those probably take the same lugnuts, washers and center caps as my turbines. Are they made by Western or American?
I was eyeballing your old wheels for my 85 C20.....hmmm |

Sweeeet! What did they charge you to polish them? I believe those were called Indy Slots at one time. I had 10's and 8.5's on my '71 El Camino.

the polisher told me to just keep them clean and they should keep, maybe use some chrome polish every now and then.
it cost $120 for all four, I guess that's not a bad price but I thought it was kind high. they're going on friday woo hoo!! |

Wow, what a difference a little polishing will do.
This probably makes me sound REALLY old but when I was in my teens, I remember those being called "Ansens", I had them on my 69 bug, and my 55 Ford(oh oh, the F word)pickup. I may not have spelled that right, but doean't anybody else (old farts)remember that term? Bradleyworld |

Those are cast wheels. They are very porous and will oxidize very quickly. They will also water spot and stain easy.....but they look bad @ss till they do.

gotta love the old school slots. I got mine from a guy who had them setting for over ten years. Man it took me hours with mothers and steel wool just to get the oxidation off them. They still look like dull aluminum. Wish I knew what they use to buff them up to look like chrome. What tools would I need? Mine came with one center cap that said Ansen Sprints.
