I always just get mine at the local axle shop in town, course I'm always needing something longer than stock. I would guess the parts vendors on the board can get them.

Go to a heavy truck shop (tractor trailer place, they replace these all the time) and have them made. This is the cheapest way to do it. Just bring in a sample, or give them measurements and it takes them 30 seconds to put some rod stock into a press.

I was surprised as I tried both LMC and Chevy Duty and neither place carried or even knew that Chevys could have leaf springs if they wern't 4wd.

You'll have to get 'em custom-made. I broke half of my U-bolts trying to get them off when I put the 4" ECE drop leaves on my truck a few years ago.
Our trucks use 2 and 1/4" wide leaves, I believe; most use 2 and 1/2" wide, which are hideously easy to find. ------------------ Project 1970 - soon to be seen at http://milhouse.treylis.org:81/

Espo.com as the correct U bolts for our trucks. If I remember right they were like $28 for all 4.
Also very affordable springs. I think for 2 coils, 2 leaf packs and 4 ubolts, was under $300 shipped from PA to NV last year about this time. ------------------
