yeap, it was really, really easy to install. i got the b&m 24,000gvw supercooler.

more parts are on the way and should be delivered next monday. Next week will be a fun week. i'm gonna clean the inside up some, since its a mess from me working on teh engine and storing crap in there.

also, should i install my MSD 6AL box in the cab or under the hood? i was thinking of installing it in the cab, under the glove box, and run the wire to the distrubtor out the old ESC hole.

eric, putting the box there would keep it well out of any weather.

I am running mine on the inside behind the glovebox. You could mount yours there as well but attaching it to the firewall might be difficult if your A/C and heater stuff is there.

The 6AL is different than the 6..it has rubber "absorbers" that go between it and the mounting surface...so simply screwing it to the firewall is not an option...or at least according to mnfr specs.

I checked my MSD box after a few long pulls and it gets pretty warm. I think you really need some air flow over the fins and it wouldn't get any inside.

What kind of fittings are on the end of the supercooler? Did you just run rubber?

it came with nipple fittings on the cooler.

yes, i used the rubber line they supplied. i figure later on down the road, when i get the engine and other stuff done, i can install it a little more neatly

Eric can you post a pic of how you mounted it? I'm trying to get ideas for mine but having no luck. I've got the holes drilled out for the lines to pass through but with mine being different support than Mike's I need to see all the options.

Kind of off topic...

In my old '88 F*rd Mustang Coupe, I mounted the MSD 6al, the coil, and the 2-step in the interior behind the glove box. I mounted them all on a piece of 3/8in thick plexi-glass and mounted the plexiglass to the inside of the firewall. MSD makes a coil "thru-put", that mounts through the firewall, to take the coil wire from the coil (inside the vehicle) to the distributor. It was a pretty slick setup. If I can find pictures of it, I will post them.
