Question?
Hello all,
Need some advise on the small, glass sized, transmission fluid container you put the fluid in. Mine was mounted on the drivers side fender originally. I changed the fender out for a nice one and remembered that I have seen these mount in different areas around the engine bay in others trucks. My question is, where is it suppose to mount? Reason is I am really trying to be as original as possable as I go on this truck. Thank you, Billy

You have a picture? The only glass anything under the hood I am aware of was the windshield washer resivour, but that wasn't stock on these trucks.

Andy, he said "glass sized" and it was mounted on the left fender and he has a big block, and lots of folks put ATF in their power steering resorvoir, so I think it's a BB p/s reservoir he's asking about.
If so, I can get him the factory spec measurements where to mount it. I just drilled and mounted mine on my big block swap over. The factory assembly manual has a pretty decent diagram as to where to put it. THIS IS NOT MY ENGINE, it is a picture off of this board of someone elses original big block truck.

Okay,
I'm an Idiot today!! Yes, it is the power stering Resevoir. My truck was leaking Trans fluid all over the driveway so I had that on my mind while I was posting about the PS. reservior container. Sorry to cunfuse you both. Thanks very much for the picks!!! I would like it very much for a copy of the specs? Mine was mounted further back on the old drivers side fender. Andy. The book gives two different mounting locations for the reservoir. The one in the pictures above is the normal location. The trucks with dual batteries had them mouted further rearward.
I'll get a picture of the page posted up for you when my wife gets home with the camera.
