msd box underhood = bad?

there is no room on the firewall inside the cab to mount my 6AL box. i was thinking of mounting it on the passanger inner fender. would this be a bad idea?

well arent you just a cute little Mr. Modification!

seriously, my buddy's Firebird has his mounted above the heater box on the firewall, no problems out of it, and it gets driven in all weather.

You location looks fine, just touch it after you run the truck for awhile to see how hot it gets due to you're headers. If it's to hot to touch, you will need to move it. Also, if it rains alot you may want to move it also, it will get wet there. Just a friendly reminder, you MUST hook up any tachometer to the MSD box and not to the dizzy. BOOM!!!!
The engine looks very nice.
