Color combo
I really like this color combination. Simple but sweet. I am wishing now that I had a 77 instead of an 87 so I could paint mine similar.
Anyone ever seen this truck an possibly have other pictures of it?

It was in Truckin a while back. Got a full-on article. It's a NICE 454 with A/C! It's a 77, it's got those same rare side mouldings like Ken has. The paint is Viper Blue with Frost White. That's how I can only HOPE my truck looks when it's done. IIRC, that truck has bags. Coil-Over-Leafs out back, with ART up front. I'll dig up the article online if I can, if not, I'll scan it and post it 2moro...

NICE truck!
Yes, 77 was the only year that had the goldish/yellow trim. I really like the 2-tone trucks from 73-80..especially when white is used! I 2 would like to see more of it.

You could even airbrush the trim instead of having to drill 1000 holes on the truck and locate the actual trim.

I like the two-tone down the middle too.
It looks better than the white on top and bottom (like mine). My grandpa had an '87 that was red with gray down the middle. I think the bottom of the gray was moulding while the top was a stripe/pinstripe, so you could do that.

There is a good photo of that truck at Sportruck.com in the show section. Problem is I can't remember which show it was in and there are a ton of show pictures on that site.
If I come up on it I'll post it. |

I like it from the front even better! It looks like it has different wheels in the two pictures...

hehe, looks like my truck will, but I'll be running it at stock height with some nice chrome mags running 85 series tires
Only differences are that mine is the stock two tone dark blue and frost white, mine won't be lowered, mine had a white roof, clearance lamps and a fancier front clip Thats one nice looking truck Can you send me the full sized version of that picture so I can print it off? (send it to russell(at)zieglerdigital.ca)
