Post Which terminal is the 12v in on a HEI dist. ??

Going to be swapping in a HEI distributor in the next couple of days. I cannot remember which terminal is the 12v in, and which is the tach terminal. For whatever reason, this new cap doesn't have them embossed on it.

Thanks!

Reid

Mine is pointing toward the driver's side and the looking at it from the driver's side fender the battery is on the right (closest to the firewall) and the tach is on the left (closest to the radiator). Keep in mind that my truck has never run to my knowledge so consider this information for what it is worth. BTW the directions were on the cap as well...LOL!

Thanks guys! This aftermarket cap doesn't have the BATT printed on it for whatever reason.

Now, there's a real money-saving idea thought up by some efficiency expert, eh? Probably saved them 2 cents per cap...
