5 Drop-Which Bumpstops?

I was planning on removing the rivedeted on bumpstop and "holder" on the rear and simply bolting these to the frame over the axle.

What did you do?

The ones above are 2 1/8" long and 2" wide.

They have others, like these...

Do they work ok (not that they do very much)? Do they hit hard?

I usually drive pretty cautiously. When and if the rearend does hit the bumpstops, it will rattle your teeth. Not that it will ride any better, but I need to c-notch it and drop it two more inches. I am getting tired of the rake, but I don't want to invest the funds in bagging this truck....yet.

With my DJM Flip Kit, I just completely removed the bumpstops and their brackets. I have about 4" from the frame to the axle, so, until I go a little lower (like 1-2") I won't need the bumpstop..
