Looking to swap frame!

I currently have an 85 k10 that I am doing a frame off resto on. I got it down to the frame and saw a couple of pretty sizable cracks that had been patched. I have also just moved into an emissions county. I would like to swap the frame out for an early 70s frame so I can have the title. Is this possible. Does anyone have one for a reasonable price.

Thanks!

They do, but if I can show that the vehicle has been rebuilt from different parts instead of repaired, then it qualifies to be exempt.

For where I live I believe they just go off of the registration, so whatever year it is registered as is how they go off of for emissions.

and where are the cracks? if they're at the steering box, buy the weld in kit, fix it, and save yourself the trouble off the frame-off.

It is a shortbed stepside. I wish the cracks were at the steering box. There is one on the pass. side behind the motor mount and one on the drivers side by the rear shock mount.
