More progress & parts
Well I am making some progress after being
down for a few months with my cracked block and my back injury. I started the body work a week ago, and got my rear lowering suspension and my X-pipe for my exhaust. I plan on getting the rear parts on by Friday, then taking it to get the front end aligned and exhaust installed by next week. Then it's off to the body shop for fender/door/hood alignment and a primer coat.     more at : http://www.unlimited2u.com/marapr2004 |

That's some serious trim removal your doing. Did you get any warpage when you did the bed sides? I need to fill all the holes where I removed the tarp snaps on mine.

I did the same thing you are doing back in 96...if I remember right, there was over 40 trim holes to fill on my truck!
Took me foooorrrrreeevvvveeeerrrrr to get it ready for paint. Keep your head buried and stay motivated...it will eventually end.  Good job so far!

Lucky thing was only the ends had holes,
middle was adhesive tape. But there were still 28 holes, I had them welded then just a thin topcoat of filler to cover the uneven weld after I ground it down. |
