How hard would it be to put late model indenpendent four wheel drive front suspension on a '67 frame?

Like the truck that **************** posted (the orange one)

I think it would be easier to put 67 on a late model frame. I have a 92 and if you are planning to do anything more than pavement, I wouldn't reconmend it. I break a part of that IFS evertime I go wheeling.

yeah, just use the sfa suspension. if you want a smooth ride, don't buy a 4x4 truck, buy Dinnut's Caddy, lol.

IFS= suck. I have worked on a new style Chevy K/20 snowplow with IFS, and it seemed to break something every time it would plow snow. not cool.

just liek the other guys said it not much for off-roading. I'm had plenty of split knuckle bearing i've replaced in my lifetime when i did suspension work.

A way to cheat part of the work would be to use parts from a lift kit for the front which would include a whole sub-frame section which holds in the front diff in place, the other part would being sure to make room to fit all the parts. all I know is it would make a badass AWD street truck.

You just need to find somebody with a newer truck that is doing a strait axle conversion!See above aswers for why there are strait axle conversions.
