tire size question

hey guys... have a quick question for you... what size tires would you put on a 68 chevy shortbed with 18" rims and a 2/4 drop?

i am not sure what size it is but i am running a 255/60/15 front and a 275/60/15 rear nice look IMO.

but you might also want to give a width you are going to run...... might be more helpful to others

Id go with something like 260-290 ( Im not sure what 18's come in) by 50/55/60/65? Imo that will give you enough meat to fill up the wheel wells and look good

This I know...I have 275x60x15's on on fours (15x8) and the fronts are rubbing my lower control arms when I turn to short. Needless to say I will be switching to 255's on the front. If I would have been a little smarter I would have first checked with this board for advice.

My fronts are 18x8 with 255/45s. This shot shows it with 2.5" drop spindles. I plan to go lower...

I remember one member in CA had 285's on 20's. It was a really tight fit, but it worked.
