Question Engine codes for 402 engines in 1972?

Hi all! Just purchased a complete 1972 Cheyenne-30 Super Longhorn with a 402. This thing is very complete including the Cruise Control, Heat stove pipe and manifold heat shiled for the stove pipe!! I have a question regarding the Factory GM Block stampings for 1972. Here is what my Block shows: T1I09TKX. Is this the correct Block? I have yet to pull the valve covers to check the head #'s, the carb shows 7042206, and even still has the Harrison radiator too! Havent even had it 24 hours and Im looking to see what this thing might be worth....Any and All suggestions, info and the like will be greatly appreciated! Oh, and by the way, I bought this truck from the original owner: NHRA's John Force's Brother of all people!!!

The carb is correct:
http://www.blake.com/oemcarbs/gmtrucks.htm
These are the codes for the 72-1-ton 400

1-Ton KX 8 400 210 8.5:1 4-bbl TH
KX is the correct code for the truck
The first letter T refers to the towanda plant
The next two letters refer to the day of the month 11?
The next two are the month 09 Sept
I think the T is for Truck engine
the KX is the code for the model of truck.

Do not take this as fact just piecing it all together.

Wow! COOL!!! Thanx! The engine code stamped is T1I09TKX....There was no VIN on the block on the pad where this was! I have yet to crawl into the eng compartment to get the block casting #! As for thr "I" in the ID on the pad, I have heard stories here and there where gang stamping broke and they improvised with a similar character/shape. I am still trying to find a place that lists what you just provided! OEM carbs? You do these? Rebuilds?
