Barn door glass....

Does anyone have a set of good, REAL good glass for the barn doors for my burb?? Im calling around to price them, and the quotes Im getting are just outrageous!! Lemmie know,

I did have to buy one glass. I went to Speedy Glass and they made one for about $30...I think.

Thanks Subman, I dont think we have a "Speedy Glass" or anything like that here, the places I called wanted 69.00 JUST for the glass, EACH PIECE... that dont cover installation.

Jodie,

Just another idea if you can't find any windows.
You should be able to pop the window you have out of the door and bring it to a glass shop so they can use it as a pattern. I'm sure they are "flat" glass, which shouldn't be that expensive.

To get the window out just take a couple screw drivers and from the indside of the door, start prying the ruber up over the metal lip a little bit at a time. I just start at one corner and go along the bottom. Take your time and don't pry on the glass itself. It really only takes about 10-15 minutes.
You should be able to put the new glass in the same way. Just pry the rubber a little bit at a time. Take your time!
