Question What size tires?

I am a phone call away from ordering me some 15" Torque Thrust II's. I just want to make sure I get the right size tires. Right now I have 15x10 rallys with 275/60/15's out back and it fills out the fenders well, but they are a tad too tall for my tastes. On front I have 15x8's-235/60/15's, and they are alright, it could use a size bigger perhaps, but I'd appreciate any pics/advice Also I have 2.5" spindles out front with a 4" drop out back. Thanks in advance!!!

put some 245/60s up front and 265/60s out back. a tad bigger in the front and a tad smaller in the back.

tires

Your set-up sounds pretty close to mine. I have the 235/60/15's up front, but do not like them. I currently have 255/50/15's on the rear and want to move them up front with either 275/60/15 out back or 295/50/15's (295's preferred).

I guess the backspacing on your wheels may make a difference.

Right now I have 15x8's all around, but have the 15x10's in the garage, ready to mount to some tires. What kind of 275's you got there????

I would run a 29550R15 O.D. 26.62" which is the same diameter within a fraction as a 24560R15. O.D. 26.58"

I have bfg pro-comps, which I don't like. They have lot's of thread, but they do have some signs of dry-rot inside the threads. They are 5-lug. I will probably sell them for the best offer. They are painted yellow.

Question one more question

I have the newer thicker lugs on my truck from the 90's chevy trucks in order to use the center caps with the plastic lugs. Am I going to have to order the wheels for a 90's chevy or just the lugs??? Thanks for all input...

Should I go with 15x8's all around with the same size tire, or go with 7's up front with smaller tires? Anyone have any pics of a torque thrust setup with 8's all around?

alot of people run 295/50/15's all the way around, which look really good.

In street trim, 275/60/15 rear and 255/60/15 front. 2/3 drop

At the track, same fronts with 27/12.5/15

I am currently in the process of building a narrowed 9", four link, coilovers and will be doing a mini tub in order to fit 14.5's inside the fenders and will probably end up with Torque Thrusts.

Thanks for all the pics and info guys!
Bowtie67: Do you have any pics of your setup? Thanks

I might just stay with the 275/60/15's in the back and just drop it some more, and go with 235's up front.

Does anyone have more pics of the 295/50 out back with a lower drop?
