Trucks, Horsepower TV, and PHR TV...they are all cool. I wish PHR would quit showing re-runs though.

Some friends and I met Stacey David of trucks last summer at a car show in Boise, Idaho (his home town). He was a real down to earth guy and talked to us for a good 15 or 20 minutes about our projects. I think if he had to pander less to his advertisers his show would be even better, but I like it the best of all of them on TV the way it is...

Did anyone watch "trucks" last weekend. I'm not in to offroading, but that was pretty crazy, pretty cool though. Surprizing what a winch and some huge tires can get you through.

Yeah PowerBlock!!!
Although the new powerblock girl isn't as good as the last one...
I try to catch horsepower TV and trucks, and even Car and Driver magazine is good to catch the latest car tests, etc. And sometimes Ride with Funk MasterFlex has got some fun stuff.
I think the shows give you a good idea about what you can do on your projects, the best new stuff out there, and a general idea of how to do it, but they move pretty fast for me and skip over a lot of details. DIY network also has some general car stuff and I find it easier to follow but really dull. :p

Anyone seen "Pimp my Ride" on MTV?? What a joke...they do some pretty chessy stuff with some pretty "different" vehicles.

I got rid of my cable.

Haven't had it since I bought a house.

You won't believe how much you can get done when you don't have it.
