Body repair questions - Nee opinions
In a quest for a new project, I came across a 70 GMC longfleet. I would buy this high option truck, but the inside of the box sides are rusted right thru on the passenger side, inner box. Could a body repair shop weld on a metal patch for this? Do you think that it is worth it to repar the original box, or find a donor box?
I would like to keep the original sheet metal, but this box is pretty bad in the inside. Outside is workable, and the floor is the wood bed. Looking for suggestions, opinions?

replace the box. Unless you want to pay more to have it fixed.
