I would definately but the secondary spring package, so you can tweak your secondaries. Other than that, you MIGHT need to swap jets, but you can pick those up for like $5 at a local speed shop.

If your running a 700r4 you will want to get the 700r4 bracket for holleys. You can get them at advance auto, they should have a big book with all the parts in it, don't remember the part number but its basically a 700r4 bracket for the throttle and TV Cables. Bolts to the base of the carb through the back right carb stud/bolt.

a quadrajet or a Edelbrock to swap out for when you want to actually drive it without working on it....

Gchemist, I think, has the part number for the throttle bracket assembly.

from expeirience, i know that manual shifting an auto trans is a bad idea.

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...rt=SUM%2DG1414 would be the part you need for a Holley carb. i would strongly suggest you rethink your choice of carbs. look at how often Tim posts about working on his... i cant count the number of "i've fixed my stumble" posts i've seen out of him. they're just not good for a daily driver. spend a few extra bucks and get a 1904, you'll be much happier.

The only reason, is because I have a busted-ass Smog Holley. If I had a plane jane Holley 750, I would like it MUCH better.

well, i was thinking about getting one of the jet peformance qjets, but i would have to get an adapter plate for it also, which means lots more money. if i do anything, i'll buy a holley street avenger. would a 670 or 770 be better?
