Truck is gone...Wagon gets toys

Well the truck is in the body shop...so I decided to play with the wagon for a little while while it was gone. As some know, I scored a killer deal on another wagon that was already fitted with a LT1-4L60E combo, just not finished. So the transplant into my wagon begins:

Some on order/Some already here:
LT4 Hot Cam kit with 1.6 rockers, G-force crossmember, Steel braided fuel feed and return lines, Trans-Go shift kit, Painless wiring harness, BTE 2400 stall lockup converter, Eaton Posi unit and 4.11 gears, Electric fan and aluminum shroud, a full set of autometer Phantom guages, and a few other misc. goodies for the swap.

I love station wagons; I need pictures.
Sounds like you've got a sleeper.

It wont sound like a sleeper, with 5.25 lift cam, long tubes, and 40 series flows and dumps.

That is going to be a wicked wagon. Reminds me of why I miss living in Kansas. No vehicle inspections there. No emissions testing there, either. You can build some wicked stuff, and not have to worry about dodging the cops.....

Hahah.

My bud had the best sleeper. 2500lb 1978 Chevy Luv with a 383 stroker shoe horned in. White wagon wheels and somewhat quiet exhaust. Tach on the hump with a jacket laying over it and the ratchet shifter. Still could close the stock hood. Total sleeper. Had a couple chunks of Rail road tie in the bed to help keep traction.

Hehe snuck it into the local strip and poped off a 11 and dusted a mustang. Promptly got banned because he had no cage. LOL.

That truck was scary. The back of the cab was all chewed up from the bed hitting it when it twisted the frame under power. He finaly dumped it after it kept cracking the frame.
