I've have put the 71 to rest

Well with gas getting so high I put the 71 in the garage to rets a while . I tried selling it but no buyers so I have decided to get my s10 out of storage. I installed factory air and gave it a 2 3 drop. I took the torque thrust off the nova and slid them under the s10 . Now I have cold air , 25 mpg and still a sweet looking ride .

Yeah, you can never tell how much gas prices will fluctuate. Just last week the price for 87 oct. was $1.65, then over the weekend it shot up to $1.80, and this Sunday it went to $1.70. Some days you just want to top off the tank (even if you only need a gallon or so) because of the fluctuations in prices.

I have to run premium in warm weather. $1.76 for it on Friday.....damn high compression. Regular is in the $1.50-$1.60 range. I really need to get a more fuel efficent vehicle....but i like driving my truck so much
