WTB- NOS 73-80 trim

I'm looking for a complete set of NOS GM side molding for a 73-80 short fleet. I will consider pieces, but it must be in new condition....

No I'm keeping it. There are a couple of pieces that need replacing due to minor damage. I tried the LMC stuff but it doesn't look like I want, so I'm trying to find a complete set of NOS GM trim to replace it all at once...

I was hoping for something from possibly the internet. I hate to tie up the parts guys 'puter just to look. If I already had PN's walking in the door, they will do a search for what you seek.

No PN's & since everything is discontinued, that's as far as they go (w/o much effort to actually search).

Thanks for the tips though.

I got these from the estimating system I use at work. I need to know the wheelbase measurements for long and short to sort the stuff from the bed moldings I found. That and I can't type, so those took forever. Not all of the moldings were showing both black and yellow, I put up what I could find. I also don't know which ones might be discontinued.

Jonboy.... you 'da man.

The wheelbase is 117.5". I'm suprised they list them as black or yellow. I assumed they would be one color or the other & more than likely whatever color was available last.... yellow.

Most of these pieces are not discontinued, but the ones that are available are available only in black.

Ken - if you still need help with this, pm me. I just bought an NOS set at the swap meet in Portland this weekend. I have all the pieces and they are all really easy to get to if you want me to look at some numbers.

Good to know. The more I thought about it, black would be the more common color since the yellow was 77 only right?

I think I got it covered there. Hopefully those are the right numbers, usually the estimating system is right on when it breaks down the options like that.

It looks like we have the part numbers covered now. You found a complete NOS set? You lucky dog! If you don't mind me asking, what would I expect to pay if I were to stumble across a set?

I paid $200. It was an awesome find since the pieces you CAN get from GM are over $1000 if you're paying list. You can't get the lower rear pieces on the front fenders.

The set I got even included the upper and lower pieces around the grill and the drip rails. I was pretty stoked. Two people I was with at that swap meet had just paid the big bucks to GM. They weren't too happy to see me get that deal...

Did you grab it and run? That is stealing ya know. Thats cheap even if it were available at every day low prices.

There is supposed to be a swap meet here this weekend. If I can get my 77 rolling I may try to get by there...
