what would i use for a fuel line to attach to a qjet?

i see holley and edelbrock have lots of fuel lines for thier carbs, but non for a qjet

Maybe there is a reason for that. Get the Holley.

everyone of my friends tells me i should get a holley, but inside, its telling me the qjet will be the best bet

I am so much happier with my Q-Jet than I was with my holley, if its a street engine and is daily driven and all that stuff a Q-Jet will be much better I think, especially if you get a Jet one. I replaced my holley because everytime I got off to one side or went up a hill the damn thing would dump crap-loads of gas into my engine and stall it out and it was almost impossible to get it started, plus I had to mess with and tune it up all the time when the temperature changed. If you want maximum HP I think their great, but you pay the price for that little extra power in gas bills and in frustration.

i suppose it would, but the fitting that goes into the carb is stripped real bad. i could barely get it off of the carb at one time.

You can actually order it from that site. That is most likely where I am getting my EFI fuel fittings and lines from www.project33.com talks highly of them.
