Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

i don't see how it will keep the heads on. there are guys with single power adders that blow the heads off if they get over 600-700 hp.

Good question. I can see "how" it's done. I can't see "why" they would want to. It would seem a stroked LS1 with twin superchargers create enough torque to make a sand rail flip upside down when gassed hard. Why would you need twin turbos too?

with no regard to the technical aspect of this engine, its very easy to make an engine that will flip a sand rail people do it all day with VW engines and naturally aspirated 4's and 6's.. Its mainly about showing off at sand drags (anything with any decent power will have wheelie bars) and for racing up the big dunes. I bet that thing is a screamer.. turbo/nitrous northstar v8 sand rails are commonplace here.. you guys should see those things in action...

Hey, if you've got enough money, and not enough brains...anything is possible. Personally, a stroked LS1 would make a sandrail DAMN fast! Add a SINGLE power adder on and WHOA! TWIN turbo or S/C, LOOK OUT! But BOTH twin turbo AND twin S/C...
