justice brothers ?

the other day a rep. for Justice Brothers additives came to our shop and did a few demonstrations, and this was the first time that i had ever heard of them. i was just wondering if anyone else has used their products, or seen them, or had good or bad things to say about them.

I've NEVER seen an additive yet that wasn't based on snake oil! (And I've been messing with cars for 52 years)

Every spring, after sitting all winter, my 72 Chevelle with a th350 gets a can of JB tranny stop leak.

It works for me.

The front seal of the tranny dries out and leaks after sitting too long. Just last night I noticed a pool of red tranny fluid on the floor of my shop under the car when I was hanging up my truck tire chains.

Time for another can.

When I worked at the shop a lady had a 76ish Malibu that would get noisey lifters every 5000 miles or so. She'd pull up, say her engine was making noise could we pour another can of that lifter tickey stuff in?
I'd pour it in. On her next fill up she'd report that her engine was quiet again.

I've used "JB 80". "Twice as good". (as wd-40)
I noticed no difference in the quality of that product verses pb blaster or what ever other rusty bolt loosener I was using at the time.

I've used the JB-80 spray. Supposedly twice as good as WD-40 (get it...JB-80). Works fine. It's all just liquid wrench to me.

Anyone remember STP? The 100 mpg Fish carburetor? Some people still believe in STP even after the Granetelli's (the owners of STP) admitted it was nothing but thick oil. It's all to me Oh yeah, how about some Marvel's Mystery Oil? Mystery was why people fell for it! I'm sure I'll get flamed, but people, it's no different then the weight loss junk --or the get-rich real estate schemes on tv--if it's so great, why aren't they using it to get rich instead of selling it to you? junk, junk, junk

They ARE getting rich ... by selling it.

Summit Racing in Reno carries their line of products. I think the only thing I have used is their brake cleaner. Worked OK

well i got an itch so i tried the transmission protectant in my 82 and i couldnt believe the difference that it made. i used to use only Trans-x and i loved that stuff, but this JB stuff made it shift faster and firmer than it ever has before. i have been using it alot at work and the customers love the results that it is giving them,,,,i am still a little sceptacle on this stuff so time will tell i guess.

I've had good experiences with their products. Been using the Engine Tune-up since the mid-seventies. Kept a 73 Vega on the road for eight years. So, either I am one hell of a mechanic or that stuff helped a little.
