Now My Collection is Complete......

I didn't really plan on this, but now I have just completed my collection of 67-72 truck, blazer and suburbans.I was out with a friend today delivering a one ton chassis to a guy he knew and low behold what do I see parked in amongst his collection of old classic cars and trucks which included a 58 impala,62 impala ss,65 shortstep, about four 56 belairs and a host of other stuff.Tucked over in far end of his property but a 72 3/4 burb, the thing caught my eye so I go over and check it out and it turns out to be a factory 402 bb,tachometer,a/c,cruise control, dual tanks equipped rig.I give it the once over, the thing is very straight and pretty rust free no dents what so ever, the only thing missing off the burb is the a/c compressor it complete down to the factory original quadrajet with breather top. After a short discussion with the owner I find out that it was a daily driver until a 6 months ago, I ask if its for sale,he says yes.He goes and get a battery and a little gas to prime the carb, and a few minutes after I hear the old girl run.The old girl gets a new owner. At a very great price,,,I mean a very Great Price..So now my I have a 71 swb cheyenne,72 2 wheel blazer,71 4x4,72 3/4 suburban,68 swb,67 small window swb, I think Im finished with me collection now,but if a killer deal comes along like the burb deal, i will have to bite the bullet and get it.

no 1969?

Your missing something from 1969!! When you get that then you'll need pickup/blazer/suburban from each year!!

With thoughts like this I try to convince myself we are doing future generations a favor and saving some from the pasture and the crushers.
